Marriage & Family Therapist Intern
Taking the step to begin therapy can feel overwhelming, and I strive to create a space where you feel supported, understood, and comfortable showing up exactly as you are. As a graduate-level clinician completing my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, I am dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care under the supervision of an experienced licensed therapist. My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental, allowing us to work together at a pace that feels safe while exploring the thoughts, emotions, and experiences that may be impacting your daily life.
I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Touro University and earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from St. Joseph’s University, Long Island. In addition to my clinical training, I am a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, which has deepened my understanding of the connection between mental health, self-image, stress, and overall well-being.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), self-esteem challenges, and body dysmorphia. I understand how overwhelming it can feel when negative thoughts, self-criticism, or emotional struggles begin to affect relationships, confidence, and daily functioning. My goal is to help clients develop healthier coping strategies, gain deeper self-understanding, and build a stronger sense of self.
My therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic techniques, helping clients better understand both present thought patterns and the underlying experiences that may contribute to them. Together, we can work toward greater insight, emotional balance, and meaningful personal growth.
